Don’t let me die

Oct 2016 C.N.P Hospital, Nepal, India.

According to the nurse, the patient suffered from a variety of ailments that could end his life at any time. However, the man was terrified of death and raged at the nurses to keep him alive. “Every time his heart monitor beeped, he would go into a rage screaming, ‘Don’t let me die! Don’t let me die,’” the nurse writes. “We soon found out why he didn’t want to die.” One night, the patient took a turn for the worse, and the nurse rushed into his room with emergency supplies. However, she wasn’t prepared for what she found. “This man was sitting about two inches above the bed and was laughing,” the nurse writes. “His whole look completely changed. His eyes had a look of pure evil and he had this evil smile on his face. He laughed at us and said, ‘You stupid bitches aren’t going to let me die are you?’”. After this frightening outburst, the man went into cardiac arrest and died 20 minutes later. However, the terror was far from over. Five minutes after a doctor pronounced the patient dead, the newly-deceased man sat up in bed and started to laugh, saying “You let him die. Too bad.” What happened next sounds like something from a horror movie? “We heard a horrible, agonizing scream and then you could hear ‘don’t let me die’ whispered throughout the unit,” the nurse reports. “Every one of the nurses that night was pale and scared. Nobody went anywhere by themselves. By morning, the whispers of ‘don’t let me die’ were gone.”

Reflection

Throughout history, a number of myths or superstitions have been born of mirrors and reflections. One of the superstitions we've all heard of is the direness of breaking a mirror, which is suppose to give the careless person seven years of bad luck. But perhaps even more alarming is the connection that mirrors have to the human soul.

It's thought that since mirrors hold one's reflection that they also hold a bit of one’s spirit, and in some cultures mirrors actually reflect the presence of a person's soul.

Doubtlessly, such beliefs have given rise to many superstitions and customs. Some of these beliefs probably came about because mirrors were scarce and of inferior quality in pre-industrial Kurseong, West Bengal thus presenting the bearer with a grossly distorted image. In fact, many cultures believe that the reflection in a mirror represents another world or dimension that leads to the spirit world. Basically everything in our world exists in reverse there; black is light, good is evil, day is night, etc.

Unsurprisingly, it's thought that souls on the other side seek to return to this dimension using a mirror's reflection as a gate.
Throughout Kurseong it has been customary to turn mirrors around to face the wall when someone in the household dies. It's thought that if the spirit sees its reflection that it can return to animate the body. In some areas of Kurseong it's even customary to empty all water containers, since the liquid holds a reflection that the bodiless soul can use. This custom is taken a step further in Romania where all water containers are covered at night, because it's believed that the spirit  wanders about then and can fall into the water and drown. Along the lines of the wandering spirit philosophy, Romanians also believe that it's helpful to open the doors and windows at the time of a loved-one's death so that the spirit will depart this world for the next one.

In contrast, the people of Macedonia purposely place a container of water at gravesides in order to trap a bad spirit that may be in the grave, and thus prevent it from tormenting others at night.
All these myths give rise to the belief that water and evil doesn't mix well--perhaps the reason why the wicked witch in The Wizard of Oz was defeated with water.

But the reflection of water and mirrors wasn't the only worry for the superstitious. The eyes could also hold a reflection and were thus capable of capturing souls. This belief gave rise to the practice of avoiding the gaze of the dead. It was thought that since death was reflected in the eyes of a corpse that it would somehow be transmitted to the observers, bringing upon them certain and eminent death.

The Consequences of Midnight

It all started when I met my first husband, I was only 18 years old and strange things began to happen as soon as he entered my life. I always had a feeling of someone watching over me, but it wasn't until we became engaged when I was 19 where I first saw what I can only describe as a ghost.
It was a Monday morning, very early about 1 in the morning and I heard a whisper of "don't trust him, please don't trust him", I put this down to being in a sleepy state and ignored it. At exactly 3:00 that same night I woke to a man at the end of my bed just watching me, he had no face and I couldn't make out anything apart from that the figure was that of a man, it was just a black figure.
Needless to say I ran out the room terrified into my parent's bedroom who both described me as being "incredibly pale and looking fearful". After this I refused point blank to move back into my bedroom, I moved into my little sisters bedroom who I shared with, and then roughly 2 months later, again at 3:00 on a Monday morning I was awoken to the same figure walking around my little sisters bed while she slept just watching her, as I darted up he just vanished.

After discovering that no matter where I slept it appeared this would still happen I moved back into my bedroom, again on a Monday morning at 3:00 I was awoken with the man whispering "watch him, be careful just watch him". During that month a smell of what I can only describe as drainage and death appeared in my bedroom, literally just in my bedroom, as soon as you went past the doorway when leaving the room the smell would vanish, we called out the plumbers who cleared all the pipes running through my room but insisted that all pipes were clear, the smell lasted a week and then just faded away.
I then married my partner and moved into a house a street away from my parents, turns out my husband wasn't such a nice man, he cheated on me constantly and after a year we got into a fight which resulted in me being strangled and getting a broken finger. I left my husband and remained in our house on my own for 6 months, during my time in the house I found a young girl in a long white night dress playing hide and seek with my living room door.

She appeared every time I had a low day and thought about trying again with my husband. I never did, I moved back in with my parents. During my time in the bad marriage my mum hired a medium who described our family so well; my father’s job, my brothers personality everything, so my mum questioned here about someone being un the house but she said there was no man, just a naughty young boy who was harmless.
Little did I know but my Nan in the Dover Lane had also been to see a Medium. It was a group session and my Nan was picked out from the crowd with the lady stating "you have a grandchild who can see things, she has a gift but doesn't know how to use it yet" my Nan has over 40 grand children but she insists it’s me that she was told about.

I am now married again to a wonderful man, but as most people he has a history and comes with an ex wife and a daughter, I get on incredibly well with my step daughter but sadly my husband and myself have problems with his ex wife. I let things bother me and upset me, and when things get too much for me I wake in the night with what feels like a reassuring hand on my head.
Sadly I also have feelings of being attacked in my sleep, once it was a brutal attack, I myself wasn't moving, I woke in the same spot as I fell asleep, but I really felt like I had been attacked I was covered in sweat and was very scared. I have also had the feeling if someone pulling at my feet while I sleep... This always occurs when my husband is away working.
I also had a dream about 6 months ago of 3 people arguing saying "she's not ready yet" over and over again.

Basically I would like to know... What on earth is happening to me? Has someone been warning me? Or is someone tormenting me?

14th Feb

                                                                    14th Feb

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block.  He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor.

On seeing him, the father yelled, “Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have any sense of responsibility?”
Hey.. wait a minute today is Valentine’s Day. So you are in a fancy date with your lady? Am I right doctor?
The doctor smiled and said, “I am sorry, I wasn't in the hospital and I came as fast as I could after receiving the call and now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”.
“Calm down? What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies while waiting for doctor than what will you do?” said the father angrily.  The doctor smiled again and replied, “We will do our best by God’s grace and you should also pray for your son’s healthy life”.
“Giving advises when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.
The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy, “Thank goodness! Your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running by saying, “If you have any questions, ask the nurse”.
“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn't wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.  The nurse answered, tears coming down her face,

“His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was at the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery.  And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”

Mutation

Breathing heavily, my eyes begin to burn. I start to freeze from my toes to the top of my head. Inside feels cold and broken as if I was dead. I get the eager to have a taste of blood. The thought rolls in my mind for a few minutes. Hunger builds up inside, before I get the chance to move I fall to the ground. My eye site is gone.

I open my eyes and see nothing but darkness around me. I get up slowly, my body is very weak. I start to smell something that makes me want to go after it. So I run towards the smell like I was hunting for food. I reach where the smell was coming from, my eyes become wide. My fane’s grow, and I bit down on the animal that I had been after. The taste of blood flows through my body. Soon as I am full, I get a boost of energy as if I had been reborn.

I wipe the blood off my face. My eyes go back to normal and my fane’s go back to their normal size. I look down on the ground at the animal. It was tore into pieces. My eyes begin to water as if I was crying. I think to myself ‘what have I done, who am I, or what have I become?’ those questions roll in my mind for a few minutes.

When my eyes dry, and my body calms down. I run home, and hop into the shower. I wash the blood off my skin. I look down and watch the dark blood drain down. I sit down and cry while the water is still running. I picture the animal that I had killed, and it keeps repeating in my mind over and over.

Alone in the Dark

was coming home from a late visit to the local library, and I knew that I was going to be the only one home since my parents had gone to a town south of ours to pick up some things. I pulled into the garage and hit the button for the garage door to close.
On my car, the radio doesn't shut off until you open the driver side door. At the moment it was playing a popular, upbeat Iron maiden song. I had my purse in my lap as I opened my door, which as soon as I did, the music went off. The moment my foot hit the ground, two things happened. I got an absolute feeling of something being wrong and that I was not supposed to be in there. Second, I heard the most evil laugh I have ever heard in my life.
You know on those old Halloween movies where the bad guy laughed demonically? It was ten times worse, because it seemed to come from everywhere at once and if you could physically feel a laugh that meant you harm, it was in that garage. I took off running out the side entrance, got inside the house and locked the door behind me.
I stayed there at the door for a little while to calm down, but since it was around nine at night in the winter, it was dark outside and there weren't any lights on inside, which didn't help. I went to turn a light on next to the kitchen, but I saw something that made me stop. To the right of the kitchen sink is the entrance to a shed that's built onto the main house, and directly through the door there is a large window that looks out on the back diagonal street. That street is dirt and there are no houses back there since our house is towards the outskirts of the town.
Standing in the middle of the back road is a tall man wearing what looked like a cowboy hat. But he was like a black void, which was weird because there is a light overlooking a power generator back there, so I should've been able to see his face or at least what color clothes he was wearing. But even though I couldn't see his face, I swear on everything I believe in that I knew he was looking at me. I shut the door to the shed and locked it, and then sat in a corner away from the windows and stayed there until my parents got home.

I told them what happened, but my dad shrugged it off and my mom ignored it, only saying that I probably just misheard a noise and the rest was just an overreaction. I decided to drop it since they obviously weren't going to believe me.

Desire

We humans can never escape desire. We squall with desire the moment we emerge, blood covered, from our mother’s womb. Give me food. Give me warmth. Give me attention. Give me. Give me. Give. Me. As we grow, desire never fades, but grows and mutates, encapsulating not only ourselves but those around us. This toy is mine. His toy is mine. All toys are mine. Mine. Mine. All Mine. Eventually, we begin to define ourselves by our ever multiplying desires. My dream is to live in Paris. My dream is to be a corporate executive. My dream is to be fabulously wealthy. My dream.. Me. But, what happens when we satisfy all our desires? In those brief moments when you don’t know what you desire, did you feel that dull, aching yearning? What is that mysterious desire? Perhaps our true desire is to escape desire. Perhaps it is best not to know.

Surgery

Hey..

I'm really nervous about my surgery, I never had surgery before. Worse thing is my grandmother couldn't come to support me, she was sitting on the edge of hospital in his gown, I'm trying not to worry. The nice nurse had told him that a tonsillectomy was nothing to worry about, they performed thousands of them and it was very simple. I was slightly calmer when they wheeled me into surgery. The anesthesiologist was very nice, putting the gas mask over my face and telling me to count backwards from 10 and take deep breaths, and that the gas might make me think or see funny things. Everyone was smiling, their surgical masks down so I could see them smiling to reassure me. The last thing I saw, a weird hallucination, all the operating tools had been replaced with cutlery.

Red Wristband

When you are admitted to a hospital, they place on your wrist a white wristband with your name on it. But there are other different colored wristbands which symbolize other things. The red wristbands are placed on dead people.
There was one surgeon who worked on night shift in a school hospital. He had just finished an operation and was on his way down to the basement. He entered the elevator and there was just one other person there. He casually chatted with the woman while the elevator descended. When the elevator door opened, another woman was about to enter when the doctor slammed the close button and punched the button to the highest floor. Surprised, the woman reprimanded the doctor for being rude and asked why he did not let the other woman in.
The doctor said, “That was the woman I just operated on. She died while I was doing the operation. Didn’t you see the red wristband she was wearing?”
The woman smiled, raised her arm, and said, “Something like this?”

Block - D Sector - 5

This is an experience which I would like to share with all my friends here. This happened last year when I was associated with ___pro (BPO).

I was doing an evening shift. My shift timing was 5:30 p.m.-3a.m.I took the drop at 3:15 a.m. While we were passing by a place called Block - D , a strange thing happened. All of us in the cab suddenly started feeling extremely warm and suffocating. It was unbearable. It felt as we were about to die because of suffocation. Strangely, as soon we went ahead for just 1 minute from that place, everything became normal once again. The temperature was normal, that suffocation was gone, and we were able to breathe in normally.

We came back the next day and got in touch with some of the local people of that area. Then we came to know that a couple of years back an extremely sad incident had taken place. A lady who worked in a BPO was returning from her workplace. As she resided nearby, so she did not use to take the office drop. She used to commute by herself. On that tragic night she was on her way home when a cab came and hit her and killed her. After that these kind of strange and horrible incidents have been happening and many people have faced strange and weird incidents.

I still do not know what that was, but those 2-3 minutes were perhaps the most horrible moments in my life.
